A few years ago when I was a junior in college I had to take out a hefty direct student loan from Salle Mae. I was approved without a cosigner, no problem. Now I need one for a smaller amount. I have decent credit (Probably a 620 FICO score) but I’m worried that I won’t be approved. I have heard that 620 is good enough, but I’ve also heard that now 650 is the lowest you can go. I can’t get a cosigner… I guess I’m out of luck?
