I entered the student loan rehabilitation program last year & made my 9th, & final, payment last month. Just as I was told to would, I received a letter from The Dept. of Education about my default status. It said that the creditors were notified that I was no longer in default.
I was also told by the creditor I was making payments to, that loan rehab would help my credit a good bit.
Have any of you completed a student loan rehabilitation program? What happened after the fact? Was it good or bad? Did your score increase & how long did that take?
Have a great day!

Your score will increase slightly immediately, and then continue to improve as you make payments, while keeping your other accounts current. You are now eligible for Title IV funding again.
Good Luck
