Apply for financial aid and as many scholarships as you can get your hands on. Talk to your school counsellor.

Try drafting a letter…Which states your purpose goals and what you want to accomplish at the _____University..include that you are having problems finding a way to pay for it and that youd hate for $ to stand in the way of you and your dream to one day give back to your community…make 1000 of those and take them to the managers of several Large stores/companies in your area…Ive never seen it bring in less than 1,000 in scholarships and gifts.
If u are not in dire need just get a job and save up.

If you’re in community college you should take as many classes there as possible. In my experience there is no distinction between community college and university gpa when applying to a professional school…assuming that’s what you want to do. I think it’s a load of garbage personally. As far as loans go…there are tons of scholarships out there. If you can’t find one don’t get a student loan thru a private bank…get a govt loan.

First, you need to fill out the FAFSA(Free Application for Student Aid), you get fill this out online at, pick up an application from your high school counselor office or the college’s financial aid office. This will be the application any government grants, college grants and scholarships, and federal loan programs. After you do that, you may opt to search for additional scholarships on websites like, there are more sites like this as well, you can access them from. You can also check with the school’s financial aid office for any endowed scholarships they might offer. Your third and last alternative is private loans which gain interest on them while you’re in school. There are plenty of banks and companies that offer student loans. My personal favorite is Citiassist found at. For these loans you must have a co-signer if you are not credit worthy. I hope this information is of some use to you! Good luck!
