Find Student Loan Consolidation

I just read this e-mail from Mr. Nick Lancaster (the admissions counselor) from Temple University, Japan:

“Dear Students

I am writing to let you know that the TUJ scholarship applications have been evaluated and awarded. Unfortunately, if you are receiving this e-mail you were not awarded a scholarship. However, TUJ also offers continuing scholarships you can apply for once you are a student at TUJ.

We should be receiving your COEs in Mid July and I we will be sending the advanced payment invoice at that time. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to seeing you this coming fall.

Nick”

Now, how this affects me and my endeavors to go to Japan:

I WILL NOT be able to attend this Fall if I don’t have enough money to pay for my tuition by the end of July or early August. I’m not sure of the deadline for advance payment. I will let you guys know.

The tuition as of this moment is $15,000. HOWEVER, from Federal Stafford Loans, Federal Grants, and a loan of $7,000 from Sallie Mae, I will have $11,116 going towards my tuition.

My GOAL by mid-July, or early August is to raise at LEAST $4,000 so I can pay for my tuition.

It’s been my dream ever since high school to attend school in Japan, and I don’t want to give up on this dream. I’d rather try until it’s -absolutely- IMPOSSIBLE.

Donations are VERY welcome, and I’ll be VERY VERY GRATEFUL if all of you can be so kind to help me with this. From the bottom of my heart, I beg you all to help me.

I will be working hard to set up events around the local area, so be on the look out, and I will keep you guys posted.
