Does anyone know of any programs to help low income families get a mortgage loan?

We want to buy a place in the country and have low income for our family size. We also don’t have much credit. We live in OK.

It will give you several programs the government has to help low income.
Also Habitat for Humanity, although there is a waiting list might be right up your alley. It has you putting sweat equity in your home.

Your best chance I getting a low income home loan is doing an FHA loan. FHA stands for the Federal Housing Administration and is a government sponsered way for people to obtain a home loan.
