   a lot of it depends on your age- if you are still very young then there isn’t too much reason to rush- and it can help you avoid being one of the millions of american’s that will be paying back student loans until they are dead- at the same time if you are unable to spend extra time getting your degree I would get the loans- despite the cost of paying them back you will still have a greater quality of life including more financial stability having gone to school

   aglow,

   I made it through college debt-free by making some real sacrifices and getting decent grades. This requires getting jobs (sometimes more than one), Pell grants, scholarships and watching your expenses.

   If you must, take out a student loan. Watch the interest rates and payback terms. This should be a last resort because with any loan you are making a financial claim on your future earnings. I know people who have been out of college for YEARS and are still paying off their student loans.

   It depends on really whether your saved or not.
   If you believe in the word, and are walking in the word, and you put the Lord first in all things, the Lord will provide. Being a Christian as you are you know key scriptures, Owe no man anything but to love him, or my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. For we walk by faith not by sight. A person that’s unsaved doesn’t have all these privilege, only one thing that’s in the unbeliever favor and that’s grace.
   And you have that also alone with the other provision.
