It depends on how much they cost and much you spend on them..

I went to NUS, national university of singapore.
Took an 80% bank loan and PSC no interest loan plus grant.
Just finished paying last month. i.e. August 2007. And I graduated in May 2001. Started working immediately and did not go on non pay leave.
Sometimes I envy my “rich” friends quite a lot. Most of them are rich now because their parents paid in full for them. And they started working without a mountain of debt. So now they all have condo’s and cars etc.
